Going to GF without dining reservations

I have a friend who will be staying offsite. On her one day she won’t be doing parks she was thinking about going to see Grand Floridian. She would not have a park or GF dining reservation. Can she just drive her car and park there? Or will gate keeper not allow this without a dining reservation? Parking would be free I would hope?

My friend tried to visit on her departure day last month. She had been staying on site at a different hotel but they would not let her in. Wouldn’t let the car in and wouldn’t let her husband drop her off either.

Is she staying elsewhere onsite? She could bus to MK and walk, boat, or monorail to GF.

Set up a DVC meeting. You park for free. They don't take long. VGF is in active sales, and they'll actually show you around. It's not a pushy timeshare-y thing. Just don't buy it.

Yes that was my friends plan too. To visit it on their departure day. Thx for heads up
