Going to gay days 2012 alone

I wonder if this guy ever went...
I think it's sad that no one ever replied. I'm going alone this year (I've never been to Gay Days anywhere) and it makes me very nervous that the top result for 'going to gay days alone' was never answered by anyone.

Will I have a good time or is this a disaster in the making?

I've gone alone for several years. This year I'm going down with extended family, a group of 16 people, I'm the only gay one in the bunch. Going solo can be a nice vacation, I always had a good time.

Not being gay myself I may not be qualified to answer this question but...
It seems to me that you won't be "alone" in the parks during Gay Days. We've visited the MK on Saturday during Gay Days last year and there were a large number of extended family type groups. That is, just a bunch of folks who were touring the park together and enjoying the camaraderie.

Perhaps its best to consider if you would enjoy going to the parks as a single at any time? If yes, then go. If no, then go anyway. Seriously, it won't be a disaster. This is WDW and since you're posting on a very Disney-centric board I assume you enjoy the parks, even if you aren't with somebody.
