Hi we are a family of 4... me, DH, DS17, DS14. We arrive on a Sunday and are thinking of going to Epcot that evening.

Where should be eat? I would like it to be nice/fun since it's our first night, where do you suggest?

BTW my oldest tends to be a picky eater.

We had a good time at Alfredos which has pretty much every pasta dish you can think of.

Since you have a picky eater you might want to consider the buffets. They all have a large variety of hot and cold foods so even picky eaters find something to their liking. The Clam Bake at the Beach Club resort is a fabulous buffet dinner. It has something for everyone and great desserts. The Beach Club is a short walk from the International Gateway entrance of Epcot (not the main entrance). Just stay right when you exit and in about 5 minutes you will come up to the Beach Club on your right. The Cape May Cafe (which is where the Clam Bake is) in inside the hotel.

We always eat at Rose & Crown Pub on our first night. If the weather is nice try to get a table outside by the water.

I would suggest Alfredo's, Rose and Crown, or the Japanese restaurant(I'm not sure what the name is). All are very good.

We enjoy the Tangierine Cafe, but if that seems a little too adventurous, Rose and Crown, Le Cellier, Alfredo's are all good choices. If you don't necessarily want to eat in the World Showcase, the Garden Grill would be a fun first night experience!

We always find the Teppanaki Steakhouse (Japan) to be a lot of fun. It's a Japanese Steakhouse where they cook the food in front of you. I think this would be a fun choice if you think your sons would like it.

Teppanyaki is good.

We like Le Cellier.

If you want the "Disney" experience, the Garden Grill does a character meal.

When its the first meal of the day (as it often is on flight day - we get up early, have some sort of early airport breakfast - and arrive famished and wanting to eat at 2:00), Biergarten has a buffet with lots of food and is fun.

We had an excellent meal at Alfredo's (Italy) Actually, we ate off the kids menus and had enough to eat. I also ordered a salad, but in the end I could have done without, we got bread as well which was rather filling. My sister had the fetuccini alfredo and claims its the best she's ever had.
