Going to DL week of Feb 18th 2008

We are planning to go to DL the week of FEb 18th, 2008. Does anyone know if there are any Southern California schools that will be off then or anything else going on the weekend before or after that we should know about?

The 18th is President's Day. A lot of schools have a 4-day weekend, with the Friday before off. In addition, there is a big cheerleading competition at the Anaheim Convention Center starting Feb. 22 through Sunday.

And you don't have to worry about schools just in Southern California. When we lived in Northern California, we had the whole President's week off and always traveled. There is the Orange County Scrapbook Expo that weekend, which I attended on a regular basis and then we spent our evenings at DTD. I wouldn't worry too much about crowds, as chances are you will have them whenever you go...just allow extra time to do what you want to do.

I think the only day you might worry about is Monday, February 18 - this is a holiday for most So Cal schools.
