Going to DL unplanned

We've never done a last minute trip to DL. I always have things planned out well in advance but we have an opportunity to get away July 2-5.

Any suggestions on trying to find a place to book? Everything across the street seems to be booked. I don't need a package as I'll be able to get tickets through my work, just a place to stay nearby.

I just did a search on Orbitz for the time you had specified and there were a lot of close by hotels avaliable. Orbitz has a 15% off promo on right now as well and a lot of the hotels that came up were promo code eligible.

Try the former Sheraton now Majestic Garden Hotel. I'll bet without the affiliation and recent name change people aren't finding it and they have rooms.

Is Park Vue booked? That's where we stayed last time and loved it. As far as last minute goes...I don't think a few weeks out is too last minute, considering my SIL and BIL decided to go to disneyland TWO DAYS before they left, haha! We live in AZ so no flights needed. They just went with their 4 kids on a whim and had a blast! They got a good deal at majestic garden hotel, so try there!

I'm in the same boat! I have some time at the end of June and seriously considering an impromptu kid free trip to DL for our anniversary! I just have to convince DH....

I would check get away today.com they have 3rd & 4th night free deals.

You can always call the hotels directly if you can't find availability at the hotel you want online. I have always been able to get a room at BWPPI and BW Anaheim Inn when they're sold out online by calling. Sometimes I have to call for a few days in a row, but people are always canceling reservations.
I canceled a reservation at BW Anaheim Inn last week and the clerk told me I just made the next caller's day!

If only certain dates of your stay are available, book it anyway (assuming it's refundable!), then call the hotel and ask them to add the extra days.
