I wasn't planning on going at all until the free dining special came out. Can't pass a good deal :) We'll be there from 8/21- 8/26. I'm just worried it will be a wash out. We did the park hopper/ magic plus option and definately want to go the water parks. Anyone here been here during these days? It'll just be my fiance and me.

Also, since we are doing this without much planning we have to stay at the All star sports complex. Anyone here stay there? Is it an ok place to stay just 2 young adults.

Thanks everyone!

The end of Aug. usually has low crowds. I'm not sure how big an impact the dining special will have on attendance - I assume it will have some. I'm sure All Stars will be fine for you... Have Fun - Just be aware of the heat & take precautions for it....

We too will be there the end of August. Due to vacation schedules and such it is the only time we have been able to go to Disney. With the heat, just drink lots of water. We encountered typical afternoon quick passing storms that were fine (you took cover, or bought a rain cover), but last year was definately different with all the bad storms. I am just praying that this year we have beautiful :sunny: sunny days for our week.

Wife and I have been there for the last week in August 2 of the last 3 years - and are going back this year. Weather hasn't been bad - hazy, hot, humid every day, but it is Florida in August. Don't worry about rain - just prepare for about 1 hour of soaking rain a day (bring a poncho),
