Going to Disneyland tomorrow !!! Dec. 16th

From what most ppl here have seen in the last few weeks, will it be very crowded? Should we arrive early to make sure the park doesnt get full and we have to turn back home? its a 90 min drive from my home, and im planning to leave around 5:30 and eat breakfast at dennys across from DL so we can get in at rope drop
Any tips or advice? its a one day trip for both parks and ima try and cram as much fun as i can tomorrow and finish buying X-mas presents, disney style.
Mygirlfriend LOVES captian hook like no other, as well as haunted mansion ghosts, Maleficent , and Snow white. any tips on awesome gifts? i cant wait ! its 3am friday, i leave tomorrow, and i cant even rest @_@ its GO time

Have fun!! I would get the gifts first thing, or earlier in the day and get a locker to put the stuff in. And you wouldnt have to carry it all day either. I despise the stores at the end of the day. WE (most of my family that is) love antenna toppers, pens, magnets, Minnie or Mickey beanies. Of course there is always tee shirts. If I lived 90 mins away I would be there everyday that I didnt work! Im a little jealous. I want to leave tomorrow!
? to the others on here. Do the stores on Main Street open before the Rope Drop? If theys do, you might be able to get that done then, and have ALL day to play!

Today was not bad at all. Through the whole day it has been 15-30 minutes for most rides. Splash was down last time i checked, didn't seem major. Have fun!
