. . . what kind of crowds can we expect? We went to Disneyland in mid May in 2006 and the crowds were low. Hoping for the same thing this year!

Also, any touring tips you have for this timeframe would be much appreciated!

10 days to go, can't wait!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Yes, but very early Spring Break. The WDW crowds don't get really crazy until closer to the end of March and I was wondering if Disneyland was the same.
From what I have heard, not really. Spring break occurs at different times in the surround states, even the counties are different. Let us know how things went.

I would expect crowds and follow Hydroguy's tips on the sticky at the top of the board. It is spring break in Phx and Arizona loves to descend on DL. I am sure you will have a blast though!

We were there last year on those dates and it was definitely busy, but not unbearable. For us this year, our Spring Break is the last week of March, but I know it varies for AZ.

We are going 3/14-19 it's our spring break up here in norcal. I would think DL is geared for crowds DLR hotel prices are a bit higher that week, DL hours are maxed at 8-12. But I just started calling for ressies the last couple days and got all my ressies at the times I wanted so who knows lol crowds or no crowds Disneyland here we come :)

I just called to make our dinner reservations at Blue Bayou and the CM said they were wide open and we could have our choice of times. I heard this is a very popular restaurant, maybe that's a good sign?

Hopefully, go prepared with a plan - expect crowds and if they're not there that's great!

uugh i hope not.. i was thinking it would be early enough to travel from March 14-19th.. but the villas are booked and just check online ap calendar and most hotels are booked too.. yikes.

Spring Break for much of AZ, Texas & No. Cal. Expect crowds.

Very important to follow HG's avoiding the crowds & FP strategies. Bottom line:

- Get to DL EARLY (at least 30-35 min. BEFORE Gen. Adm. or MM opening).
- Collect FPs early & often.
- Hop to DCA when it gets to crowded at DL.
- Use your FPs at DL in the evening when it's crowded.
- Have fun....you're at Walt's Park. :thumbsup2

:)

we are going to be there too - 3-13- to 3-19 - it's our spring break in wisconsin for some schools anyway - have a great time......

We'll be there fighting the crowds with ya, just decided to go today, 3/14-3/17 YAY! It will be spring break where I live in Arizona. I expect it to be crowded but we go to DL often and have learned to deal with the crowds. Honestly, I'm always just happy to be able to go to DL, and try not to stress about doing everything. I'm sure we will all have fun even if it is crowded. :goodvibes

We just booked a hotel today, I was surprised I was able to get reservations so late for 3/14-3/17, but really there were several hotels within walking distance that were still available for those days. Hopefully, that's a sign that it won't be that crowded (yeah right I'm in Fantasyland again I know).;)
