Im going to disney world end of november for 6 days what is the weather like then??

Last year the 29th,30th and into Dec was COLD!! I don't know about the days before but I would keep an eye on the forecast and pack accordingly. We needed sweatshirts and more! We will be there the 14-23rd this year so we are planning on warm weather! ;) Hope you have a great time!

It's funny - it all depends on your perspective. Being from Minnesota, we thought it was warm during that time! It didn't turn cold until the day we left (12/2 - got down to freezing at night). It was so warm on the 28th that they still had full power shooting from Splash Mountain (we got SOAKED! and that was before the ride actually started - from the water cannons that shoot out during warm weather when a log descends)

HA! I guess you are right SDWRDT. We are from Mass and it was warmer at home most of the time we were in WDW.

As a near-lifelong Floridian, November weather (especially the later in the month) tends to be rather bipolar. I would pack for weather from anywhere in the high 70s/low 80s to potentially freezing weather. As your vacation approaches you'll get an idea of what it'll be like while you're here and I would definitely recommend checking the forecast to know what it will likely feel like but like I said, it can get VERY bipolar around here. One day it could drop into the 40s and maybe even some freezing temperatures and the next day the high will climb to the 70s. It's just the way those cold fronts move through and how intense they are. Just make sure to pack for anything between low 80s to freezing temperatures. You never know what will happen. Hope this helps!

We've been 3 times in Nov and the weather is absolutely beautiful. We wear jeans and t shirts, and that's usually all you need during the day. BUT, the early mornings and evenings when the sun goes down has been down right cold!! We had hoodies and gloves, and occasionally my teeth were still chattering  But to be fair, we're from Louisiana and I'm not in the cold all that much. We've only visited once during the warm months, and I won't go again. We're headed back this Nov :yay:

I live on the west coast of FL and frequent Disney (DVC and Annual Pass holder). Weather in FL is usually wonderful but can be down right chilly. At least pack a jacket or sweat shirts. The past two years, Nov has been cold enough in the evenings to put the heat on (below 40).

we always go the 2nd week of november and have to pack for both seasons. it's generally tank top/shorts/flip flops in the day, and sweatshirt, jeans and ugg boots at night. not a trip you can pack light for... but the holiday decor and f/w are great!!

We have gone for 7 years straight. The majority of the time it is nice during the day... we start the day in short/hoodie, by 11am, no hoodie, then 5pm need jeans and hoodie. We have some extremely cold days where our winter coats from Pittsburgh were not enough, but these are not as common as the times when we just needed the jeans and hoodie. We have been able to swim every single trip and usually if you get that cold spell, it is only a day or two.

We were desperate for gloves one year! Every gift store was sold out! I now pack a couple of pairs just in case.

The thing about the cold weather in FL--- Even though the colder months are considered our " dry season", it is still more humid here than it is up north. At 25 degrees in PA the humidity is probably 20%. but here when it is in the 30's, the humidity is prob still 50%, and the cold feeling goes right through you. Not to say we get cold like up north, ( i came from PA) but the feel is colder at higher temps.

We went mid-Nov. last year and the weather was great--mostly wore shorts but we did wear jeans a few more times than I expected (at night) we'd need but we only needed a light weight long sleeve at night and early in the a.m. (I need this even after a hot day though!).

Only disaapointed b/c IMHO it was too chilly to swim in the afternoons or evenings. Still, there were a lot of die hards who were out there swimming in those heated pools of the Pop Century at night.

Nov. is still hurricane season, but who knows w/ today's weather patterns right? We preferred going in May as the weather has always been warm to hot and pleasant---BUT May of course didn't have the wonderful Christmas decorations.:confused3

Do the Christmas decorations go up before Thanksgiving?
We're thinking of going the week before Thanksgiving and although I love Christmas - we've done Disney in December before and it felt a little like Christmas overload to me!

First half of Nov. is great the second half is around when the the first cold front usually comes through.

We were there in mid november. We had days where we had to wear jeans and sweatshirts. One day it rained. But we also had some beautiful weather which allowed us to wear shorts and tank tops. My advice is to pack for all possibilities, layer, and check the weather report before you go.

Depends on the park. The Magic Kingdom is dolled up by at least the first Christmas party in the first week of November. It's really a matter of how quickly they can turn around from Halloween decorations to Christmas. Epcot doesn't officially start it's Christmas season until the day after Thanksgiving but if you're going a week before, you may see some preparations. I believe DHS is kind of in between MK and Epcot but you'll see the Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights up by as early as August. They won't be turned on, but the process is a long one. On the week before Thanksgiving, you can probabley expect resorts to be in the process of decorating if not finished :)

I loved the PP reference describing it as "bipolar":lmao:

In all seriousness, get all your clothing packed for warm weather ( more than likely) then TWO days before your arrival date check the WEATHER CHANNEL and the NOAA on the Internet and repack accordingly.:rotfl2:

I've been there when it was gorgeous and I've been there when it was "well below normal temps" and it stinks to be unprepared:guilty:
