There's a good chance my husband will be asked to work in Orlando next November. Our baby will be 14 months old at the time. We've never taken our kids at that age. I'm curious if I should or if I should just wait. What can a 14 month old ride on?

I am assuming you would go to Magic Kingdom. You could ride Dumbo and Small World

Many rides do not have height requirements at MK. If you look on the website, for each park, you can filter the rides to show those with no height restrictions.

Our first family trip was when our youngest was 14 months old and she had a blast. She could ride the majority of rides in the magic kingdom and really enjoyed character greets. She liked to get out and run around in many of the splash pads and play areas such as the one in the dumbo queue, and there was also one in Epcot future world although I can't remember which ride it was near. Both my girls enjoyed the pool and playground at the resort as well.

We took our DD at 14months. It was wonderful. Really most rides have no height restriction, and child swaps are like FP golden tickets! We baby wore and she napped on me on rides. Her favs were the boat ride in the Mexico Pavilion, Dumbo/Carpets/TriceratopSpin, and HM. She also like the Tiki god statues that sing and spit water in Adventureland. She HATED characters, though, so we avoided them, which was kinda disappointing.
I'd go with that age in a heartbeat. It was so much fun seeing the little things adults never notice through toddler eyes.

That age is SO much fun at Disney!!! Disney is geared towards kids so at every park there are tons of rides and shows that will be fun for that age.

We've taken our DS at ages 3 months and 15 months and had a blast both times. They can still ride so many things. And then there is rider swap which you can use for rides LO can't ride on.

With our girls, we waited until they were 3 and 5 before going the first time and always regretted waiting so long. When we had DS, we clearly did not wait, and those trips have been just as fun. :)
