My son is having a wish trip through an organization(not maw) granted to him in Sept and we are going for several days in mid Sept and would like to extend our trip and stay longer to do more things. My first question is, is Mickey's Halloween party available in Sept? We will be there sept 16-23 probably or there abouts and would love to see that. Secondly, what are the new restaurants that have opened that are must dos? We will be travelling with my son who is 4 and this is his wish trip, but my 4 other children are also coming along as well. Ages are 11, 8, 8, and 3. I've heard the tuskar house is excellent for breakfast. Can anyone tell me what sort of food they serve? Also, are the parks likely to be busy in sept? And what is the weather like then? Thanks!

MNSSHP dates in your time frame are September 16, 19, 23 & 26.

The newest restaurant is Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom. At this point it may be hard to get a dinner reservation, but they also do a quick service lunch.

The Tusker House is fun and good food. We liked it for breakfast. It is a buffet.

I have never been in September but from what I understand it is hot and can be rainy at times... But crowds are pretty low.

Enjoy your trip!

We have been a couple times in September. The crowds are not that bad although the headline attractions can have a long line here and there but it is manageable. The weather is shorts and tshirts weather (or less) very warm/hot but again manageable.

You can find all the menus available at WDW here: http://allears.net/dining/menu/

Are you looking for a character meal or w/o character? Buffet or menu items? Are you on the dining plan? Will you be at each park or would you prefer a meal at a resort?

Tusker House has amazing food, and if you can get a reservation before the park opens, you can get pictures in a nearly empty park. I recommend trying to get crystal palace in Magic kingdom for the same reason. The food is pretty good, the characters (pooh/tigger/piglet in crystal palace) are fun, and it's really cool getting pictures done on mainstreet without anyone there.

Thank you! The kids prefer character meals mainly. And we were thinking of doing wishes as well for fireworks one night. We plan to visit all of the parks. Here was our tentative schedule:

arrive sept 16 and visit dtd
sept 17 go to magic kingdom
sept 18 Hollywood studios
sept 19 magic kingdom/mickeys tot
sept 20 animal kingdom
sept 21 Hollywood studios
sept 22 epcot
sept 23 either magic kingdom or epcot
sept 24 universal studios

now all of this depends on what time I can book my adrs for, which I plan to do tomorrow. We have 2 days passes and I am planning on adding 4 additional days in.
