Hi! I am so glad to have found this site! My DH and I are taking our 2 boys the first week in October. Can anyone tell me how far out I should book dining reservations? Also should I do the Halloween party? The boys will be 4 and 7. I am trying to plan...should I or do I just do it as it comes once we get there? HELP!

I look forward to hearing from you all!! I AM SO EXCITED!

Welcome and beware that this site can get addicting! It is always great to plan ahead, but do not get upset if your plans are not executed once you get there. We tend to plan our WDW trips commando style but find that once we're there we rarely stick to the schedule. Be sure to search around the site for restaurant reviews. We were there in January and did the Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Pioneer Hall. I think you boys would LOVE this! It's a dinner show with corny jokes but it's so much fun for the family! Do you have any specific dining wants? Buffets? Character Dining? Everyone on the site is very helpful!

Hi there :wave2: and :welcome:

You can book the Disney dining 180 days before the date you require
I can recommend Cinderella's castle ( though a bit pricey) at MK
Crystal Palace at MK and The Rose and Crown at Epcot
But if you search this site you'll find reviews on most of the Disney Dining

Good luck

:thumbsup2

Cindy's Castle breakfast is my fave. I know many on here beg to differ but I just love this place. This is on my to do list on every trip! It has princesses so your boys may not have so much fun. However, it's great for families and a great way to start off the day at MK.

Hello and welcome!!

We did the Play and Dine at Hollywood and Vine last Oct. It was wonderful. My grandaughter is 5 and loved JoJo, Golieth, and the two Einsteins. She dance and participated as well as all the children, both boys and girls. We had a early breakfast prior to park opening. I recommended it to a friend who works with me for this past Feb. He took his 4 yr old son and 8 year old daughter and they really enjoyed it as well. So go for it.

We also loved the Crystal Palace and the Garden Grill with Chip and Dale, Mickey etc. at The Land Pavilion in Epcot. I think they would enjoy the meal here as well since the restaurant rotates while you eat. We got to spend so much time with the characters off and on. It was great.:woohoo:

Do the Halloween party and let them dress up. You and you husband should dress up as well. We all did and we had such a good time being children again. The Party is great and a lot of fun. The parade is wonderful. We watched from the Frontierland area. The Fireworks were good too. Rides were very short. We went the 1st week in October during the week.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
