Going to a wedding....

I know Disney doens't often offer discounts, but what about guests who are invited to a wedding?? I know we'll be invited, but I"m already trying to "budget". Thanks!

If it is a custom wedding then the couple will have a room block. Hopefully, they would spread that room block to from the low cost to moderate to premium resort. i.e all-star, POR, GF... (we did that for our guests)

If it is an intimate, there is no room block so it would not hurt to ask Disney.

Also, if there are other brides on here getting married at the same time AND they need people to fill their room block.. you may be able to take avantage of that. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Is a room block discounted??? Thanks for your info. I'm excited to go. We were there for my daughter's first birthday last year, and weren't planning to go back this soon, so this was a very welcome surprise.

The room block are discounted rates. However, I found that we got better rates using our AP pass. In addition, there will be discount tickets offered. You could buy better I think on ticketmania.com . This is only if the couple is having a custom wedding!
