So, going this week. Forecast in the 90s (not shocking at all). We live in coastal NC, so we aren't strangers to heat, humidity and afternoon showers. Hopefully the predicted lower crowds the last few days of August will make the heat worth it . .(plus it will be my son's birthday when we go to MK day . .so there is that "magic!")
Any unique last-minute tips on how to keep everyone cool, happy and well-rested for a short (4 nights/2 park day (MK and DHS)) trip with 3 toddlers (ages 2, 3 and 4) (my son and his two girl cousins)? I know the basics .. go early (we plan on utilizing morning EMH) . .stay hydrated .. hit the shows in the afternoon.
It's my first time going with a child in this type of weather (we took him last October).
So i worry about them getting overheated ... plus, making a mad-dash to shelter is a lot easier with no child in tow. Any tips on avoiding the (inevitable) rainstorms at MK and DHS?
