Going the first week of Dec

hello everybody!

i am in the process of planning our family disney trip, only this year, we are going the first week of december ... i am trying to get a handle on what resort to stay at (currently considering coronado springs, wilderness lodge, the polynesian, and animal kingdom lodge) any thoughts or suggestions?

also - any other tips on what to do with the holdiay events or when to do them?

Is price a factor? If it's not then go with a deluxe, if it is then I'd go with CS, it's a moderate with a deluxe feel. Do you want to be closer to any one park? DO you want to be on the monorail line or is bus transportation ok? How many people are going?

of course price is always a factor, but i look at "value" ... for exampe, is it worth it to spend the extra loot on a savannah view staying at AKL ... or being the holdiay times, maybe spending a couple extra bucks on the wilderness lodge as i understand it is one of the better decorated resorts at the holdiays ... convenience for transportation is also a consideration ...

i have been to disney many times over the years staying both on and off disney property (business many times dictated off property) ... in any event, i have stayed at the wilderness cabins, coronado springs, carribbean beach, and the contemporary ... we loved CS and the cabins!

after doing some additional research, i have modified the list but will certainly take all advice the list now includes:

all star music
coronado springs
port orleans riverside
animal kingdom lodge
wilderness lodge
beach club

again, we will be going the first week of december and my children will be 9 and 10 (it will be their 4th time
