Going stroller crazy

Here's the stroller connectors.

I can't post a link because I'm too new here. Do a search for stroller connectors and you find some by Price Lionheart.

I found them at Baby Depot and Babies R Us.

Has anyone used them with Maclaren strollers? I just bought the Triumph and love it. I thinking about getting a volo or another triumph for my 4 1/2 year old. It would be nice to have the option to connect them. We are renting a car so I'm not worried about buses. My 4 year old HATES to walk. I think I will go back to Babies R Us and see if they will let me try to connect the floor models and test it out.

Does anyone know if I can fold a volo and hang it off the Triumph handles when he wants to walk?

Thanks
Michelle

But when you drive to the park you often need to take a tram from the parking lot to the front gate. I actually found it harder to put the stroller in the tram than the bus. Also if your staying at a Disney hotel it is much easier to take a bus to MK than drive. If you take the bus they drop you off at the gates. If you drive you have to park at the Ticket & Transportation Center, take a tram to the entrance there and then take a ferry boat or monorail to the MK.

I've never used the connectors so I can't help you there.

CBoysMomLoves Disney,

Where did you buy the connectors to combine the 2 single strollers into a double? How does it work? Is the Mac Triumph the only stroller that does this? DH and I would also like to have the ability to split up, and each take one child...this sounds like the perfect stroller! Where did you buy it?

Also, how is the handle height? Both DH and I are tall, and we have inexpensive umbrella strollers that I bought and hate because I feel like I'm slouching.

The connectors were fairy easy to use, ea connector is 2pcs and there are 3 connectors to attach at different parts of the stroller. I purchased the connectors and the strollers at Babies R Us. AT the time the price was the best I could find (about $120 ea), though I have seen the triumph on many websites. The handle height is taller than the real cheap umbrellas. My Dh is average height 5'10" and I am short 5'2", so it was perfect for both of us.

You might try the maclaren web site to see if they list the height of the handles.

Return it and buy the Peg Perego Pliko P3!

OK, I'm a little excited because I've also been obsessing like crazy and just bought this yesterday. I LOVE it! Seriously, you should at least go to Babies R Us, or somewhere that sells it, and try it out!

It is SOOOOO comfy for my two year old. It's light and easy to transport. AND, my 4-year old can stand on a foot board that's attached to the back and hitch a ride! Yesterday we went for a 45-minute walk that included hills, curbs, etc. -- my 4 year old stood on the back the entire way and it was a BREEZE to push and maneuver! I have the Joovy caboose and find it really hard to push on long walks, not comfy for sleeping, and very hard to lug around. . . so I was sceptical. But truly, I love the Pliko and think it will solve all of our problems! I can't wait to bring it to Disney!

For anyone out there on a budget who can not spend that much on a stroller, Do not forget Babies R us also sells handle extensions for the cheapo strollers. They do not cost a lot and make it easier to push. I use 4 umbrella strollers and clip two together. These are great! (have six kids)

I love my jeep double umbrella! ($75) I have a 6 month old and a 3 year old. It's easy to steer and push. Plus it folds pretty small for an umbrella. THere is no storage, but so far it's handled any bags I've hung on the back. And it can fit through a regular doorway with little effort.
