I have never been to Disney World and want to know some major tips. I know I can't see everything plus I only have 3 days at the park so I plan on splitting animal and Hollywood studios. What are some major places to eat and try or must ride. I am staying at coronado spring and I want to do downtown disney the first day since I don't have to use one of my tickets plus I will have 3 full days aat the park. I am going in sept

First things first: Get a good WDW guidebook. I think you'll see the most recommendations here for The Unofficial Guide - it's like the "War and Peace" of guidebooks (huge), but thorough and an entertaining read. I also still like the Birnbaum's/Official guide for "just the facts."

The most important thing to do is get familiar with the parks and attractions and set your absolute must-do priorities. 3 park days isn't much. Also note that you will need a Park Hopper ticket to enter more than one park on the same day. (You mention splitting a day between AK and DHS.)

Next advice, hang out on the Dis! Check out the restaurants board for opinions on where to eat - I think that is almost the most personal thing, because we all like different places. It also depends on whether you're looking for character meals, signature dining, traditional meat-and-potatoes or something more adventurous. This site as well as allears.net has lots of menus to give you an idea of what's available.

The fun of going solo is that you don't have to worry about what other people want to do. If something sounds fun and interesting, give it a try.

That's just a basic starting point, but researching and planning a WDW trip is half the fun!

3 days will be plenty of time to enjoy Disneyworld.

Splitting Animal kingdom and Hollywood Studios is a great idea to make the most of your time. I assuming that you will be using the other two full days to enjoy Epcot and Magic Kingdom?

Well, for Hollywood studios my only must see attractions are Rip Rockit roller coaster, Tower of Terror, and Fantasmic!

So my suggestion is to hit Animal Kingdom at rope drop then end your day at Hollywood studios. The Tower of Terror has an amazing view at night.

It is hard but fun to do the parks in 3 days. I would recommend subscribing to 'Touring Plans' where you can create an itinerary of what you want to do, and they organize your list based on how long you want to wait in line, how leisurely you want to travel around the parks, etc.

The last two trips I went on, I used this service. I was never in line for more than 15 minutes!

Well I change my mind and will be coming in sunday instead of monday so I will have one full day at each park
