One of my sister's is giving me a trip to Orlando for Christmas. This will be my first ever solo trip, and my first time in WDW during Christmas week. I've already got the hotel and air fare taken care of, but I was wondering if you could give your best recommendations for which parks to visit on each day. I'm arriving on the 23rd, and staying through the 28th, and I'll be staying at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace near Disney Springs. This will be my 6th trip to WDW, but first solo. I've never been during Christmas week, and have heard horror stories of the parks being super crowded. Just wondering if y'all could give recommendations for park days on the 24th - 27th. Are crowds as bad as I've heard?

I've been to WDW several times during Christmas and to me it's Magic Kingdom that seems the most crowded and The Osborne Lights at Hollywood Studios before it stopped. Clearly my favorite Christmas decorations are at the Magic Kingdom so you definitely want to see that. Nevertheless as a frequent solo visitor to the parks I usually just go with the flow and if one park get's too crowded I move on to another park and just keep going. On a side note I would suggest that you consider visiting the various deluxe resorts on property during your visit because some of them have really nice Christmas lobby displays. Sorry I couldn't be more specific as to which parks to visit each day. Have a great trip!
