Going Right After Easter

We are planning on going to Universal the Monday and Tuesday after Easter and will have park-to-park tickets. I noticed that there is Early Park Admission for both parks those days which we are not eligible for. How do I decide which park I should start at? Also should I start off at the Harry Potter area when I get in at 9am or I am better off going there later in the day? Do the parks get quieter later on in the day? The parks close at 9pm on Monday and 8pm on Tuesday.

I'd do the HP areas both in the AM and evening. The crowds are thinnest then. I'd start at Diagon Alley then take the train to Hogsmeade. I wouldn't put off the HP areas until evening in case a ride you really want breaks down and never comes back.
Be in the parking garage an hour before opening to walk plus security and ticketing. You'll be poised to get in right when you can.

I agree. Go to Gringotts, take Hogwart's Express, go to the HP castle ride. The line for Gringotts can get long when there's early entry. I had early entry and was there on Thanksgiving. We went to Minion's first then Gringotts and had to wait on hour in line. They stopped the ride multiple times to add cars. It was ridiculous but that was my family's only day to ride it. If you have park to park and the line is really long for anything just skip it and try back later. Universal has really good app that shows wait times for everything. You can even install it now and check it different days and times to get an idea of the lines. Something could be an hour wait then two hours later 30 minutes.

I'll be there too - Tuesday to Wednesday though, and we did splurge for early entry as it's April vacation week.
