Going out w/o telling your spouse/SO...Update p. 4

Funny side bar to the whole story: he had taken my car, and it was very low on gas. Had he told me he was going somewhere, I could have warned him and told him to get some gas. But he didn't. Anyway, the car starts beeping at him on the way, but he thinks he can make it. Long story short, he didn't! Had to walk awhile to the nearest gas station. I couldn't help but to find that a little funny!
That is funny and ironic. You know what they say about Karma. :teeth:

Yep, Karma bit him in the butt. :teeth:

I would have also been upset. I'm glad that you're not thinking affair, though. Hopefully he'll understand your concern and learn from it.

:rotfl: Ahh..Karma strikes again!

Heck, I suffer from insomnia on a regular basis, sometimes I take a walk at 1 am with my dog. My DH knows I do this, and figure if the dog and leash are missing he knows what is up. I have tried to leave notes for him, but even with a designated "leave note here" location, he can't find them. I have also left without a note because I have gotten a cause of the "gosh, beef jerky sure sounds good". I am usually back within 10-15 minutes.

If I were leaving the house for something other than the above, I would leave a note and have my phone on. But, if it is a one time thing, I can see being upset but I would (hopefully) get over it quickly enough.

DH would leave a note, but only because he knows I am a worry-wart, and that I wakeup throughout the night, and would know he is gone.

I would never jump to the conclusion that my DH was havinng an affair either - but I would be angry that he left without telling me and made me worry!

This is why I read these boards; for the lucid a rational advice people give.

Huh? :confused3 I assume you meant lucid AND rational advice... :rotfl:
