first time cruising and i'm going solo i got a verandah and the room number is 7130 i believe is by the front of the ship is that good location ?

Actually 7130 is in the aft area of the ship (the back). It's the fifth room from the back of the ship on the port side (left side of ship when facing forward).

No. But we've been in the back of the ship on a lower deck.

We've had rooms in the aft, mid and forward sections of various different ships. I find there isn't a lot of difference, except for the forward rooms on a really rough seas day. Then those had some movement to them.

We're sailing the same day from Miami, my husband and I and our 3 kids

We always sail in aft verandas. She me say you can feel more vibration but we've never noticed. Deck 7 is great - few floors down from Cabanas and muster station used to be in Animator's which was much better than waiting outside when it's hot. Enjoy!
