So, we're going next week. We'll have 7 in our group - me, my husband (he has MS, and he'll be using a scooter), our daugher's (ages 3 and 6), my sister, my dad, and my mom (who will be in a wheelchair). I wasn't planning on bringing a stroller b/c the girls usually just take turns riding on my mom's lap in the wheelchair, but is that a bad idea, should I bring the stroller?

So... how much stuff should I plan on taking? We're from southern Arizona, so we freeze easy. What kind of clothing should we wear/bring? Do I need to carry around extras of anything for my daughters? Are there any essentials that will make the days (if wet) better?

The last time I went to Disneyland was 25 years ago, so I'm kinda a newbie.

TIA!

Sunday and Monday there is a 30% chance of rain then it's dry the rest of the week. The highs will be in the low 60's and the lows will be in the mid 40's. It can get cold when the sun goes down around 5:30 and you're standing still waiting for the fireworks/nightastic/world of color to start. I'm a woose when it comes to cold.

Go to walmart and buy a cheap rain poncho for everybody. You'll have them if you need them. Disneyland sells them but I don't know how much they cost. Bring a jacket for everyone and maybe an extra sweat shirt for those who get really cold. You can rent a locker at the park and stash them there till you need them.

Can't offer any info about the stroller question except that you can rent one if needed.

Another way to keep warm....there is a coffee shop, nicely placed near the lockers, and across the street from the Blue Ribbon Bakery. If you buy a cup of coffee, keep the receipt and you can get refills all day...and all night.

Enjoy your trip.

I'd definitely bring rain gear, just in case. I have bought rain jackets online and have had them delivered to GCH for our trip 8 - 15 Jan, 'just in case'. From what I've seen of weather reports so far, I'll need them.

the rain ponchos at Disneyland are about $7 each...pick up some at Walmart, just in case...for one thing it will be easier to keep your group together if you are not all in the same ponchos as everyone else. It gets cold when the sun goes done. I prefer fleece to sweatshirts (doesn't absorb moisture, and it's damp at night). Layers make the whole day managable, and a locker makes life a lot easier. Those cheap stretch to fit gloves are helpful...and Target had hand warmer packs in their $1 spot recently.
have fun!

Thanks for the tips. I'll be sure to buy ponchos in advance and will check out the lockers - that's really neat about the coffee refills, too.

I keep checking the 10 day forecast, this weekend I am buying rain boots just in case and having the boys bring extra shoes
