Going next month...No ADRS??

Thanks all. I realized too late it was free dining time!

Add Labor Day Weekend to that already busy timeframe. Good luck and call now. Post back. You need to remember there are good places at the resorts to eat at. One of your problems will be your party size. I called weeks ago to try to get into WCC for our party of 9 and the first 3 nights nothing was available (we are not going during free dining nor a holiday weekend--Aug 11-20), but did manage to move a few reservations around to get a decent time. Dining inside the parks will be your biggest challenge. If you don't manage to find anything before you leave, check at the front desk or at guest service in the park. At MK there will be a big sign in front of guest service/town square building and it will tell you what has opennings. I have seen it with no opennings many times and it tells you to go to CS locations. Late lunches will also be an option for you.

Come back and post what you got!

We are going 8/14-21, and I just moved some ADR's around last week. I wasn't able to get everything I wanted, but ended up happy with the results. We are going to have to do more lunches than usual, and some very early dinners...but it's definitely workable.

Good luck! :goodvibes

You are like us (similar dates), as we did the same thing and we still have some options. However, remember the poster is going during both free dining AND Labor day weekend!!

This is the first time we've gone during this week. Normally (the past 3 years), we are there for the first 10 days of free dining...which puts us into Labor Day. There is very little available in the park restaurants, but the resort restaurants had availablility...unless you were after the super popular ones like Cali Grille or 'Ohana.

She will be able to find something as long as she's flexible and willing to travel around WDW for it. :)

Maybe things are a bit more busy this year but last year we went during the first bit of free dining and over labour day weekend. We only had a few ADRs made ahead of time. We got a walk up at a couple of restaurants for lunch and went to guest services when we needed to find dinner. We were fairly flexible (i.e. I would say we would like to eat in EPCOT tonight for dinner) and they would find something for us.

Thanks for all the input. WDW Dining was down most of yesterday with computer problems. The CM I talked to this morning said they are in the middle of changing the system (to allow online reservations?).

Anyway, I did get BOMA for a dinner around 8 pm, and we already had the Aloha show for one night and a Character breakfast at Ohana for another day, so we won't be starving!

I am REALLY interested in getting ressies 2 or 6 at Le Cellier for lunch or dinner between 8/27 and 8/30. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Good luck. You have almost no chance. I called for that at our 180 day mark and there was no availability the entire 8 days lunch or dinner. I asked and nothing was available even when I broke our party from 5 into a 2 and 3 group.

You might just try calling Disney Dining and asking, "OK, what DO you have on (whatever date)". You might end up with something unusual, or one of the less popular restaurants, but you might find a nice surprise. Try Kona Cafe (gets very good reviews), the Wave at the Contemporary (brand new), Grand Floridian Cafe (we had a very nice dinner there). And if are open to odd times, like a 3:00 lunch or a 9:00 dinner, you might have better luck. :shamrock:

Hello.....

Keep checking for dining reservations. They get cancellations all the time and you just never know what will pop up.

If you are looking for specific restaurants, ask if they have them available for any of the days you want. Otherwise, just ask what's available the day you need something for.

We just booked our reservations for August 10 - 16th a week ago. I was able to get CRT for lunch, Le Cellier for dinner, Whispering Canyon and Yak and Yeti for dinners on other nights.

I called back yesterday and got CRT for August 12 and today called and got OHana breakfast for August 16th.

Reservations come up quite often as people change their minds and their itineraries.

Keep on trying!
