We will be staying on WDW property with DVC pts, have our own car, so we know to expect paying for parking. Also hoping to catch spring training games at WDW. This will be our 1st time going to US/IOA/CW...heres our thoughts, buy 4 day park to park. College spring break pretty much over by that week, so hoping crowds will be lighter. 4 days should give us enough time to see all we want, DD def. wants to exp. HP stuff. Hoping our days at parks will be weekdays.
Should we buy express passes? I realize HP stuff will be a wash on express...will it be worth it on other attractions?
Also...places to eat, any recommends on must not miss places?
How far is the walk from parking deck to either park entrance? Only want to know this to allow for time
Any other things I might be missing?

4 days will be lots. 3 will probably do it. You don't need to buy express in advance. I would check out the lines first before you make any decisions. Express passes can be purchased inside the parks at many locations. Try to get to the gates before opening. They usually start letting people in 15 minutes in advance, so you want to be there at least half an hour before the park opens to regular guests.

Check out the food sticky for menus and recommendations. My favourite is Mythos.

there are some schools that have spring break at the end of March.

some schools do not end until june 21 or so for the summer.
