Going last week in May? Will we roast?

I guess I've always had pleasant weather going in January and October but this year we will need to go around Memorial Day weekend. Will the heat really get to us?

Depends on where you are from. I live in TX and found the weather in June last year (90's) to be okay. It starts hitting 90 around May so we were used to it by the time we went. If you are from somewhere that doesn't get 90-100 degree weather you will probably be hot. But, there are enough places to go inside and cool off that you should be okay.

I agree with what Susie said. May is usually nice around here, if you don't mind upper 80's/low 90's. The end of May sometimes gets to mid-90's, but there are plenty of ways to get out of the heat. Memorial Day weekend is very busy, though!!! Have fun!!!

It will be hot but just pace yourself. Find ways to get out of the heat such as indoor attractions and you will be just fine. We usually start out early in the day before it gets to hot and then we take a mid-day break to go back to the resort for a swim. We head back out to the parks in the late afternoon.

Right now I am planning a two-week trip to WDW/Orlando in late May/early June. I know that it will be hot, but when does it get really humid? Where I live, by that time it is already shorts weather (warm, low-to-mid 80's) but not too humid yet.

I'm trying to find a pool home, that way we can hit parks early, come back for a few hours to swim/nap/read/play and then go back to the parks in the evening.

We lived in the Miami area when I was a kid, and my mom hated the humidity in the summer. I'm trying to convince her that it won't be so bad....

Well, that depends on how you define humid. Orlando doesn't go much below 60% humidity at any time of year. The best indicator is the dew point. Most Southerners will be OK if the dew point stays below 70, but folks from arid or cool climates tend to have a lower threshold.
