We have been to Disney several times but this is our first time with the Dining plan. Dining was free for this trip and we decided to try it. The problem is no one wants to plan in advance. We normally just eat when we feel like it or when it fits in our schedule. So for people who normally use the Dining plan. Is it possible to get reservations for any Table Service when we are there? I'm sure we will use plenty of the QS. We do have one Table Service reservation made.

I would be very surprised if you could get Table Service reservations...or if you can it would be by looking each morning to see what is available...probably out if the way restaurants at odd hours.

How many are in your party? Check the online ADR system ASAP and see what is available. Makes zero sense to get the Dining Plan if you are not going to take advantage of it. :confused3 I know the Dining Plan was *free* - but you paid full price for your room for it - so no $$$ savings if you can't use effectively.

There's always something available, but by waiting until the day of or the day before you'll have to take whatever is available. People will cancel, especially the restaurants with the credit card guarantee to avoid the $10 per person penalty, so there's a chance you'll luck into one of the cancelled reservations at the last minute. There will also be reservations at the less popular restaurants, the TS at resorts away from the theme parks and at off times.

There are 4 of us going this trip. All adults. This is an all girls trip. I think that is part of our problem. No one is a big eater. Now if my Dh was going that would be a complete different story. I know we can get into Rain Forest without a reservation because I have done that many of times. I did go onto My Disney Exp. site today and searched a few places. Like someone said, it is going to be hard to find a time I want this late in the game. Tomorrow I am getting with all the ladies and I will make a couple more before we go. "The good thing is "We have our fastpasses.":yay:
