Going in Sept/Oct

We are planning a trip to Disney/Universal on Sept 25-Oct 5. Is there anything going on at this time that I should be aware of? We have been there about the same time of the year and had hot but wonderful weather. Any suggestions? Thanks.

You may want to check out the budget board for that $20.03 per night room rate at The Courtyard by Marriott at Downtown Disney for Sept.

In Oct: Mickey's Not So scary Halloween party and at Universal the Halloween horror Nights--both events require a separate admission ticket than the regular park ticket.

This is a great time to go. We have been twice at the end of Sept and no crowds either time. The only down side is parks close earlier and some of the pools do too. Last Sept we stayed YC and SAB closing time was 8pm. We are park people so we had a hard time getting to SAB and being able to swim for very long. On the other hand as great as SAB is my boys had a really fun time in the quiet pool too.
You will prob miss MNSSHP, the first one is usually after the first week in Oct. But you could still hit HHN which is every weekend.
