Going in November - how different from July?

We will be checking into Coronado the Saturday after Thanksgiving and staying until the following Saturday, so pretty much the week after Thanksgiving. We normally go to the world in July but this year booked the free dining plan and a stay in November.

I know that portions of November used to be considered a "slow" month and July was obviously a "crowded" month, but has that changed over the years?

no such thing as a slow month anymore. The middle of the month might be slower, but it will not be slow. The week after thanksgiving (once the weekend ends) is usually a very slow few days. it won't last the week but there will be a downturn in crowd for mon-wed and start to grow again on that thursday..

Have you ever been in the fall? we did a trip at this time in 2014 and we loved it so much that it changed what we like about disney, when we go and ultimately it turned into moving here last month. Weather is great, everything is festive, it's a great addition to the holidays to be down at that time in my opinion. Flroida has some of the best weather if you can avoid the high temp and humidity may - set (and a little into oct)

We've actually never been outside of the summer months, so we are definitely looking forward to cooler weather. And holiday decorations! Good to know the week after Thanksgiving has a few slow days. Congrats on moving there! That would only be a dream for us
