::MinnieMo My fiancee and I are going to WDW in late September for our honeymoon. Undecided still about where to stay:-( He likes the great rates at the Swan Club level and I want a balcony over one of the lagoons, like at the Contemporary or the BWI. Any input about where to stay? WE are staying 7-9 nights. At the BWI, are the water view rooms facing the lagoon and over the boardwalk? Is it close to coffee, etc in the morning? We stayed at the CBR last July and had quite a walk every morning to get coffee, something he doesn't want to do again. I am afraid that if we stay at the Swan, it will be lacking in atmosphere! I want the whole Disney experience!
HELP!!!!

Well, the good thing about deluxe resorts is that everything is close or in one building. The only concern for the Swan is tha on top of the standard rate there is a $10 PD resort charge along with a $7 PD parking fee(that is if you have a car) You also can't charge back to your room while staying at S&D. We love the Boardwalk and the rooms over the boardwalk are a lot of fun. What yal should decide is what park you are going to spend more time at. My husband and I spend most of our time at Epcot so we usually stay at an Epcot resort (Y & B club, BWI, S & D). Lagoon view rooms are very nice at Poly. We were there in Dec. and had a great time. It's like Hawaii on a budget! Ohana's is wonderful! You should make your way over and have a Lapu Lapu (just be forwarned, don't drink them on an empty stomatch  ) IMO you get a more magical reception from a Disney resort. Good luch in your choice! Planning if half the fun! :bounce: When you make your ressies don't forget to tell them you are on your honeymoon! You never know what a little pixie dust can do!

For a honeymoon, I would choose either Grand Floridian lagoon view (if it fits in your budget), Poly lagoon view or Boardwalk with a Boardwalk view (this would include water view). You could always check the rent/trade board and rent points for a 1 bedroom at Boardwalk villas - this would have a nice romantic jacuzzi tub as well. We will be staying in a 1 BR @ BWV 9/24-10/1, maybe we'll see you there.

We loved the YC water view!! This resort had everything for us and we were treated wonderfully. We also thought it was a little quieter there.

I highly recommend Poly LV if it fits your budget...we stayed there last Sept/Oct for our honeymoon and it was truly magical...good luck with your decision and have fun :)

For a honeymoon, I would have no other choice but the Poly... wow, it is so romantic, you feel like you are in Hawaii. The lighted tiki pathways.. oh my.. :)

The BWI also has some cute little garden suites that would probably be perfect for a honeymoon!
