I've planned a trip for the family for 12/30-1/05. We're going to stay in a villa and want to go to Universal. We're waiting for the Blue Man Group tickets for Jan. to show up on the web site before we order our Universal tickets. Is the BMG worth the high cost of a ticket?
We're also going to hit Sea World and one day at Disney...probably MK or AK. How are the lines during that week...anyone have any advice? We'd also like to go to the beach and/or one of the waterparks, but wasn't sure about the weather at that time either.
Are there any New Year's Eve activities to know about? I have a 12yo boy and 8yo girl. She'll actually turn 8 on Jan. 4th while we're there!:bday:

We didn't do BMG and were completely occupied by everything else there. I have never seen the show live but from what I've seen of it on TV when it was in Vegas or whatever, doesn't look like its worth the costs of those tickets IMO.

When we first went I thought it was free and that it was just another part of Universal, when I saw that there were seperate tickets for this at that rate, I thought, ugh, no way. Wasn't messed up at all about it.

In any event unless you just absolutely love broadway/vegas type shows, I don't see the point at all. The stuff we love about universal is the rides and the themeing of the parks, not really interested in a over priced vegas type show at all, so much more to do there.
