Going in for Thyroid Biopsy tomorrow.

I didn't get real freaked out about it until yesterday. I hate that they are doing it right before a 3 day weekend so I won't get results until next Wednesday or Thursday.

They are just doing a fine needle aspiration, so it shouldn't be painful, just scary!

The biopsy's not so bad (had several in the breast a couple years agao, all ok). It's the waiting that stinks!! I was VERY fortunate that they did mine while I waited!! Good luck! Pixie dust and prayers your way!! Let us know how it goes!

It wasn't painful at all....very eazy and the doctor seemed very optomistic.

He also said the results would be in on Tuesday, so hopefully the wait won't be too bad!

Good luck with your thyroid biopsy. When something's wrong with the thyroid, your whole system is out of whack! Hopefully, they'll pinpoint it and correct it soon.

I had the radioactive iodine treatment on mine about 14 years ago. While it fixed the problem, it left me with having to take Synthroid the rest of my life and struggling with weight problems.

Let us know how you make out.
