Hello I live near Toronto and plan to get married in Florida in late February.

For those who have visited Florida in February before, what's the weather like ?

You know any travel agency that offers flight ticket at very reasonable price?
(You can private message me on that one)

Merci
Terence

Hi tchan03,

I was in WDW February 24 - March 5, 2005 and the weather was changable every day.

For the first few days we were there it was in the high 70's to low 80's :sunny:

Then we had a couple of days of mid to high 60's (with rain) :umbrella: then it started to get warmer again by the end of the week.

We found the best way to handle the temperature changes was to layer and take a bag big enough to carry clothes to add or remove as needed.

We are going again February 2006 :cheer2: and will make sure we have warm clothing (just in case).

But, it is still better than snow :rotfl:

Sorry, I can't answer you flight ticket question, I use airmiles to pay for my tickets. There are posts on this board about cost of tickets, but many people like to fly from Buffalo as it is much cheaper. Maybe that might be an option for you? :scratchin

Good luck with your planning.................

How early were you able to book with Airmiles, I am watching the airlines for the available dates.

DH and I were in WDW in Feb. 2005 from the 11th to the 20th. When we landed people were complaining about how cold it was. It was like a spring day in Toronto. The first two days I wore my spring jacket over a tank and short sleeved demin shirt, with a pair of black denim jeans. I found it warm enough when we were moving or in the sun. At night I added a cardigan under my spring jacket. After the first two days it warmed up considerably and I took off the jacket during the day and only wore it at night. Toward the end of the week I could have worn shorts but hadn't packed any. We didn't have any rain at all and it was sunny and warm every day, sunny and hot for 3 to 4 days.

Hi mejaie,

I booked my Airmiles tickets to MCO for February 2006 in early September.
I had enough for 2 round trip tickets at the old rate. (1950 each ticket) :cool1:

The Airmiles program has updated the amount of Airmiles requires since October 1st. This was the reason that prompted me to book early, as I knew I had enough for tickets prior to Oct 1st, but realised that once the new rate came into effect that I would not be able to save enough for the additional airmiles required. (now 2250)

We have bought the 3rd ticket as a Cash ticket.

My son and I are flying with Air Canada down, my daughter is flying on Westjet and we are all meeting at MCO. We are all flying on Air Canada home on the same flight :sunny:

Hope this helps :0) :paw:

You can also purchase MYW tickets through airmiles. I found it worked out better for me to purchase the tickets with airmiles (don't have to pay any tax) and then fly SWA out of Buffalo.

We went down Feb 8-12 2005 and will be going back (fingers crossed) Feb 8-15 2006. In 2005 it was nice, spring like weather in the am and pm (could wear shorts and a light jacket) and fully short and t-shirt during the day. We were lucky and had gorgeous weather. I would say lows of 20 and highs of 25 ish. Great for touring.

Generally the only thing you need to look out for in Feb is presidents week which I beleive in 2006 starts Feb 20th. It gets really busy in the parks as most people in the USA have a day/few days/week off and they flock to WDW. So, try and avoid that timeframe.

tchan03,
We love  going in Febuary and 2006 will be our 3rd trip (2001,2003)Most daytime highs that I remember where 70-75 :sunny: (80 a few days) and the nights where a little cooler that required a hoodie or jacket if out late.
Coming from Alberta's winter :cold: I will take any kind of sun and warmth.
Have a great time and good luck planning your Disney wedding! :bride:

We've gone in Jan, and Feb, and the weather was like maryann f said. A nice spring day in Toronto. The first sign of spring in TO and everyone sends there jackets flying and they get the shorts out no matter what the thermometer says. They know your from Canada or the Northern US and they just look at you funny. I was there in Feb.05 ( first week) and we wore shorts everyday and t-shirts. Now the nights are cool and then we had sweatshirts but no pants. Now 3 days after we left we headed to Clearwater to the inlaws and I had sweatpants on and actually thought it was going to snow. I phoned home and my mom said the temp. there was only 3 degrees warmer :cold: .
Now pricing, I'm waiting for my CAA to phone and see if the VISA special is going this year, if it is you can get a good deal with that.

Congratulations

We went last year in Feb and again this feb and the weather was good and the crowds were good except for Presidents day weekend. :earseek: What a diffrence 1 day made. We needed a light jacket at night but were fine the rest of the time with t shirts and shorts or capris. We started checking the weather daily about 2 weeks before we left and I must have packed and repacked my hubby and myself 4 times.

Congrats on getting married there! Were going to celebrate our 8th anniversary of our first date. Cant wait.
