Going in December....ticket questions

hello....this is our first trip to WDW in December and I am so excited!

What decorations are a not miss?


And can we buy a ticket to the Christmas party without a park ticket for that day? Or do you need both?

We will have a two day hopper pass so planning is pretty important. I need to buy my passes soon ( just booked yesterday) anod boom my fast passes.

You just need a Christmas party ticket and you can enter as early as 4 pm with that ticket.

Yeah I think the Christmas party's worth it if you don't go to a park otherwise that day. Last year for Osborne lights at HS, and it's always nice to look around World Showcase at Epcot for Christmas decorations. Of course MK's got lots of them too
