I just went out for my morning walk/jog. I'm three weeks in to the couch to the 5K program, and while running and listening to a Disney song, I thought, I can't wait to actually go for a morning jog at Disney this summer! Definitely something I've never done before!

So, no matter how many times you've been to the World, what is something new you are hoping to try this trip?

I'll jump in! I am hoping to start Couch to 5K either tonight or tomorrow (depends on if DH is still sick) so your post was a great motivator for me!

One thing I am looking forward to is using the treadmill in the work out center at WL. Isn't that crazy??

The other things are everything in the New Fantasyland, and watching DS enjoy it all--he's been before, but he seems to "get it" more now!

Good for you and good luck with it! I'm finding it to be a great program..I'm usually a gung ho, all in type, which generally means after three weeks of killing myself in an exercise program I am burnt out :rotfl2: But this one slows it down to a workout that's appropriate and doesn't push you so hard that you dread the next one! I'm planning my first 5k in April! And ikwym about it being crazy to want to use the treadmill - NEVER did I think I'd say I want to use precious Disney time to go running :yay:

I usually go all-in like that too, and then it falls by the wayside at week 2 or 3. Telling myself this time that I have to get in shape for this trip and for just every day health! Glad to know C25K will help with that!!

Yep, my dorky self is excited about using that Disney treadmill and walking on the Dream! I keep thinking exercise will be more "fun" at Disney! :rotfl2:

I have done C25K in the past, and actually ran during our trip in 2010 - not very exciting at ASMovies! Still can't believe I got up early, at WDW, to RUN! :) Completed my first 5K that following October. Fell off the wagon for a bit, got started again, developed plantar fasciitis, started again, broke my foot, UGH! Starting AGAIN in the next week or so, and really looking forward to running the trail at POR - I hear it is the nicest trail on property! My goal one day is to run the Princess 1/2 - maybe for my 40th birthday???:cool1: Other than running during our trip, I am looking forward to finally seeing WS at Epcot - this will be my fifth trip to the world, but I have only been to Epcot once, and we just stayed in FW because we were only there for 3 hours - so looking forward to our 3 days planned here! Also looking forward to AK - never been there at all! And finally, looking forward to using the reg. dining plan instead of the QS. Really looking forward to trying a lot of new restaurants!

My goal on my "by the time I'm 40" list is to run the Princess 1/2 too!! Of course, I must actually accomplish running anywhere first!

Ooh, I hope you love AK! It's my very favorite!! And you will love the dining plan! There are so many great places! Do you have ADR ideas?

Good for you for not giving up! I would love to do the princess 1/2 too someday! WS and AK are among my faves! Where do you want to eat?

Well, since you both asked - these are the restaurants we have ADR's for -Biergarten, BOG, Mama Melrose's (the F! package), Akershus, Rose & Crown, 1900 Park Faire - breakfast and dinner, HDDR, and Liberty Tree Tavern. The only TS restaurant we ate at on our last trip was CRT. That meal and our meal at WPE were the only ones I really remember! Looking forward to a lack of "fast food" on this trip!

I still have never eaten at the Biergarten! I think you made a great choice with your other TS! I'm hoping for HDDR, LTT and R&C this trip too. Oh, and I also can't wait to try BOG - are you planning QS for lunch or TS for dinner? I am thinking we may do lunch.

We have a dinner reservation, but I am sure we will try lunch too - mostly for the different experience. I hear you only get to see certain parts of the castle with either - and I want to see it ALL! As far as Biergarten, my SIL said they ended up eating there 3 times on their last trip because they liked it so much! I figure it is worth a try if they liked it that much! We got a late res at R & C, so hopefully we can watch Illum. from there!

I did the Couch to 5K program myself in the spring before running a 5K and found it very helpful. Now I'm terribly out of shape again and should go back to it...but not in the weather we are having here now. BRRRR! Maybe I'll pick it up again in the spring!

Well our next trip is only 20 days away...and we just got back from a trip in November. However I DO really want to make time this time around to see Enchanted Tales with Belle and just see a little more of New Fantasyland. We've been on Little Mermaid twice...but that's it. Have not made it in the gift shops or restaurants there...maybe we'll even wait for a table at lunchtime at BOG too!

I'd like for the kids to try the new Phineas and Ferb adventure in EPCOT. We did the Kim Possible one a few years ago...one of them...so it would be cool to do one or two more this time. I think they would like to do the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game as well.

We may try to introduce the family to Marrakesh for a meal. DH and I ate there in March 2012 and enjoyed it and would love to go back with the family.

There are always new things to do here so this is just our current short list for our upcoming short trip! :lmao:
