going home first time to ssr

quick ? for you ... im booking my first trip home to SSR, (new member to dvc) im going to be using a 2 br , im bringing my folks down for our first visit... id like to get a rm with a veiw of DTD if possible , when im booking at my 11 month window (tommorrow) do i request itwhile booking and where , what section should i request(again for a DTD veiw) if you have a favorite section , or room # please let me know thanks

Sorry, guess I should have actually answered your question. I did request the Congress Park section when I made our reservations.

Yes, request it while you are booking and yes, request Congress Park with a DTD view. But beware that it is only a request and there are no guarantees that you will receive this.

We must be going at the same time. I just booked a trip from April 4-10, requested grandstand with congress park as second choice, above first floor, dedicated 2 BR.
How can I make 11 months go faster?

SSR is big...so if there's a certain view you want
examine a SSR map...there's a plus side to every area.
Although, Congress Park has the DTD view...I prefer the
location..."The Springs."

I like the Springs area for its close proximity to
the registration area, restaurants and the "High Rocks"
theme pool. From "The Springs" it's a short walk to
above areas and also the dock for the DTD boat.
