Just wondering if anyone else was worried...saw that on the 13th of Dec. it is calling for 80% chance of rain.
We have been in Dec for 4 yrs straight and NEVER had rain...:sad2:

YAY! I am going 12/12 -12/16!!!

go to www.weather.com. the forcast there is better than the one at accuweather. I am going to go with that:

12/12 81 deg 20%
12/13 80 deg 10 %
12/14 79 deg 30%
12/15 77 deg 60%

Let's just say that this forcast will be correct! :thumbsup2

I don't think you have to worry too much. But do bring a sweater/sweatshirt. It can still get cool in Dec. Have a great time!!

I'll be there on 12/12 & 12/13. So EXCITED! I hope it doesn't rain.

I am going to be there from 12/11-12/15 and I only live an hour away. It has been a little cold and rainy lately but weather.com is pretty faithful and it shouldn't be too cold and rainy this weekend.

I have been checking OBSESSIVELY for the past week!!!! Here is the current from weather.com...

Sat 12- 10%
Sun 13 - 30%
Mon 14 - 60%
Tues 15 - 30%
Wed 16 - 60%
Thurs 17 - 10%

What's really wrong with rain? I've noticed that it thins out the crowds at the parks anyways. Plus, not many rides are shut down due to rain, except outdoor ones like Splash, Big Thunder, and Test Track. :confused3

We'll be there 12/16-12/26, and the weather looks pretty good, nothing drastic.

I've been checking the weather alot too.. not too thrilled about having days with 50%+ chance of rain

I was in WDW for 2 weeks in May, and one of the two weeks was the week of monsoon-like rain (13 inches in a week!!). So yeah, I've had it with rain at WDW. Enough is enough!! Whew.. thanks for letting me rant.

I too was there in May when the 13" of rain dropped. We did not have a single day of good weather. I don't mind a little rain but it was brutal. No fun at all with little ones. I am going 12/12-12/19 and not too pleased with what I have been seeing on the weather channel. Hoping for the best this go round.

We are going 12/12-12/18...I am ok with a bit of rain but leaving Ohio for Florida I want to see the SUN!!! I am hoping that 12/13 MVMCP won't be a rain-out!:confused3 We will see!

I can't speak to FL forecasts, but I've found weather.com to be more reliable than accuweather.com for Michigan forecasts. DH is in a weather-sensitive line of work so I've got years of practice "forecast shopping", and I'd rank weather.com and wunderground.com both above accuweather.com for accuracy, though neither go as far out.

Wunderground's forecast is showing 20% chance of rain for the 12th to 15th, with highs ranging from mid 70s to low 80s. I won't complain if they're right! :beach:

we had beautiful 80 degree weather with almost no clouds yesterday and today I woke up to pouring rain. but I checked weather.com again and it said it should only really rain on Saturday(there is 50% chance) and maybe sunday(30%). but it is going to be in the 70's and 80's monday is supposed to be 84 and sunny so it shouldn't be too bad.
I was getting worried last night because this is my boyfriends first christmas disney trip and it's my favorite time of year to go, and I was worried that if it rained all weekend it wouldn't be as magical.

Everyone, check your forecasts!!! It seems that it has taken a turn for the better!:yay:
30% of rain on Sat is the highest percentage of precipitation. :)

I arrived this past Saturday and haven't had any rain yet. Expected today and tomorrow but it has been great weather!
