I am TOTALLY driving DH nuts with this. He just doesn't "get it".

BTW, this is my first post, and I couldn't be happier I found these boards!!

I'm driving all of my friends, my parents, my younger brothers and my DD. Yes, my precious DD who is nine years old wants to go to JAMAICA! Trying to remove that thought from her mind. DH and I are working hard on driving her nuts to get her nuts about WDW! We still have until she's fourteen to turn her! LOL! Nobody around DH and I can relate to our Disney addiction. They all must be nuts!!!! LOL! :p

sanctus - welcome to the DIS boards!

As far as trips go it will be:
DH 3rd
Me 4th
DS9 3rd
DS4 4th

I think I may still drive DH a little nuts with my obsessive trip planning but he seems to be getting a little more used to it. :sunny:

Welcome to the DIS Deb!!!! We posted at the same time so I didn't see that it was your first. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I call my nephew about 3 times a day and keep him posted. My tickets are starting to come in so i have to let everyone know. I won't stop bugging my sister. I want her to come. She has a 6 year old and that is a fun age. My son is going to be 15, he is also fun to go with. He goes on all the big rides. I just love to watch new people experience the joy of the parks and resorts.

Stay at CBR and request Jamaica building, and tell her that's as close as she can get until she's on her own!!!

Juicefruit...when you get there you will be more amped up than you are now. Believe me, you will not experience any "poopness" at all! LOL! I'm still doing summer salts (figuratively of course)! :bounce: :bounce: :hyper: :hyper: :bounce: :bounce:

DW thinks I'm losing it. I get more and more excited the more I read and learn from you folks. I've stopped telling her each time I discover something really interesting. She thinks it's getting to be "a bit much." :confused3

I am probably driving all of my friends nuts - they just don't get it at all.

But what drives ME nuts is my ds.
I wish my sister would go to wdw with us (or at least do a family trip on their own). I know they would love it - we (both families) get Disneyland AP's and go a lot.
I can't believe they have never gone to WDW. She has a dd 10 and a dd 4. They are very well off and spend about $6000-$10,000 a year on family vacations. They go to Cancun and Hawaii, etc. I know that they would love WDW - I keep bugging her (and probably driving her nuts) to plan a trip.

I actually haven't told most of the people at work about my trip in 2 weeks. If they knew we were doing Disney again--- well I just don't want to deal w/ trying to explain myself. I've just said we're going to Florida for a family trip. End of story. It's or 5th trip in the last 2 years. When I told my family, they didn't get it. So I don't really talk about it anywhere but here.

I'm feeling slightly obsessive and have to make VERY conscious efforts not to drive others crazy. My aunt is debating joining us, but my mom "hints" a lot and she get irritated so I'm very careful to NOT mention. . . but it's actually a fun game because she'll see me looking up information and then SHE brings it up. Just last night she goes, "now if I go, how much would it cost. . ." so I gave her a rough estimate. Ten minutes later she tried to play the "I don't care" thing again and asked me to bring back some more coffee mints for her. She wants to go so bad but she's one of those people who is too "proud" to show excitement. A couple times she's made side comments, "you know I'll end up going." but then she goes back to saying she's not going. She's breaking though - it's a matter of time. Plus she's totally obsessed with Passion of the Christ and we'll be down there when Jim Caviezel is there - she's totally going, she just needs to break down and admit it.

My biggest problem is sitting at the computer and NOT looking up Disney stuff. I'm taking 18 credit hours this semester and 2 of my classes are online and I can't seem to keep concentration long enough to do an entire assignment without stopping at least once (or a dozen times :teeth: ) to check out something else. The trip is supposed to be my "graduation party" but if I keep this up it might not be!! LOL!!

I'm just driving myself crazy! We have less then 3 weeks and now I'm starting to wonder what I need to do to start getting organized. I need to get all my PS numbers together with the daily plans. I had all of this planned out and all typed real neat and then dh accidentally erased the hard drive---something he didn't recognize so he deleated "it" and the computer went crash taking all my written plans with it. I also need to double check our toiletries and other packing items. I need to go ahead and pay off the room. I've hesitated because of all the hurricanes. And I guess I can go ahead and breakdown the daily budget and get that in envelopes. I need to find that other suitcase. We are going October 8-15, so I want to make sure all of Octobers bills are paid and I want to go ahead and pay Novembers too. I'm trying to decide if I should rent a rocking chair from A Baby's Best Friend...dd has problems sleeping anywhere but her crib, so I'm afraid of trying to get her to sleep. I NEED to make ds' Halloween costume---how the heck do I make a Sora (from Kingdom Hearts) costume? And I decided now is a good time to start redecorating the house---once I'm done with that bathroom, I have to stop. My list is endless.

But we are all VERY excited about the trip! My best friends thinks we should be scared and she would have cancelled her trip because of all the hurricanes. Nothing will keep us from Disney!

I know that I am driving some people around here nuts, but they dont say anything. I am enjoying planning this trip and have learned so much on these boards. My trip isnt until April but I am very excited about it, and my kids are so pumped too. They are almost as bad as I am.

17 more days here. YAY. I packed my carry on bag today. I went and bought the rest of my things for my bag and all i have to do is my packing. But with this funny weather, i am still wearing my shorts.

:rotfl: I'm so gld to see I'm not the only one!! I started packing in about JULY! getting Spring/Summer clothes on sale for the baby because she'll have outgrown hers by then. Making packing lists, getting some Disney shirts etc. to have. I've made printed lists of tips, character spots, counter eats. PS's....I rent a Disney movie when every couple of weeks. I put the vacation DVD on once a week so little one is used to the characters. I check these boards every day for any new info. I've gotten a little better since my PS's are set and I keep reading the same thing over again. I've tried to stop talking about it as much because my husband is teasing me. He thinks I'm nuts!! :) But if someone brings it up I start rambling! I just can't wait to go and have fun for a whole week with my family. We enjoyed it so much the last time, I can't wait to experience that "Magic" again! ::MinnieMo
