I'm sitting here at work on the Dis boards not working like I should be:ssst: going totally insane:crazy2: :crazy2: waiting for my Dec:santa: trip to arrive. I can't wait to get my (hope to be little by then) butt on the plane and walk through the gates like a proper young lady then RUN to Splash Mountain and yell WEEEEEEE!!!! all the way down on the drop, then share a bucket of popcornpopcorn:: with my hubby:hug: then maybe a churro and something to drink:drinking1 and enjoying everthing that is Disney and seeing everyone happy during the holiday season!!!! Is anyone else going crazy:crazy:with excitement?? Please share!!

yes I am on your crazy train too! I am at home with a sick kid .............who I begged to go to school and he got worse there ...........all because he will miss a day next week and he does not know it yet. All I do at work is check on the Dis.....maybe something new came up! I think every one at works thinks I am a psycho ........................but WHO CARES! I want to go now!!!!!!!!!!! and yes I can't wait to run in and hit those rides , as many as I can ! I am the same girl who cries to get up in the morning , but for DL I am up bright and early! The crazy train rocks!:thumbsup2 :grouphug:

Yes Missy, thanks for the invite. I would love to come along!!! :woohoo: We leave in 28 days. Will be in the parks in 29 days. (If you couldn't figure that out by my signature) My DH and I are in our mid 40's and act more like kids than our teenagers. They too, love Disney!!! I love the popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: (can you tell?) Have a coupon for a small one if I buy the big one. Guess I'll have to do that ::yes:: Splash Mountain was on the refub list when we were there in April. Want to ride it LOTS of times while we're there. Thanks for inviting me on your TRIP:hippie:

I'm right there with you. I was excited when we planned the trip but this week it's hit me really bad and I want it to be NOW!! I am so excited. We haven't told our girls we're going, so I'm excited to wake them up at morning and tell them. I'm excited about the whole thing!

uh huh!!!! It is just 11 days for us and I am driving my whole family crazy with how excited I am! I love this part before the trip, because my kids really behave! I keep threatening, "If you don't behave, we'll be sitting in the hotel room!" So, my DS12, came up to me and said in private, "Mom, I know you don't really mean that, you would be too excited to sit in the hotel room to punish us, but I won't say anything so that the girls (his sisters) won't know you don't really mean it!" Wow, I guess he has my number!:rolleyes1

I am right there with all of you! I spend too much time on the DIS while at work thinking that if I don't look, something great will be posted.

I have 44 days to go and now I am actually worried that it is coming too fast and that it will all be over before I know it. I know that I just need to chill and savor every minute of our 7 days. This will be our longest trip ever. Now that we will have AP's, I am already thinking about the next trip.

Looks like we're going the same time as you. I have 44 days left too! :)

You and I think alike. I kind of dread the date coming because then it will be over...but unlike you, it will probably be a year or two before I can go back to DL. Seattle is a long ways from Anaheim. :sad2:

I try hard not to spend too much time on DIS while I'm at work, but I usually check in at least every hour. Then when I get home I am on the 'puter' til bedtime. :surfweb:

Now that Ridemax has published their November calendar, I'm really going to be obsessed. So many itineraries to plan for so many people. ;)

We're not going until March, but already the excitment is a bit too much!

I can't imagine what I'll be like when it's only a month to go... I'm already doing very little work!

Because I've got something on roughly every two weeks for the next 6 months I have figured out that if I just concentrate on what's coming up next it should go pretty quick.

For example, this weekend is a weekend away shopping, the following fortnight is my birthday, two weeks after that it's my mum's birthday, my brother's birthday and I'm going to a concert. :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2:

It keeps going all the way up to my trip, but I won't bore you with all of it...

That's what we did all summer long. We went camping a lot, we spent a weekend in Victoria BC, took drives to the beach...etc. :cool1:

September and October are dead months as far as anything going on, so time has slowed to a crawl. :sad2:

But hey...September is nearly gone and that means I only have to go through October then all the planning and waiting will suddenly come to a end and we will be on the plane headed for the happiest place on Earth!

I have a hard time sleeping a week before travelling to Disneyland. I'm not too sure, but I think I count the hours. It doesn't help when my family reminds me of how long until departure; down to the minute even!

I fly out on Friday and I'm going crazy!! I like planning because it's a good way to direct all my energy when I get all excited, but everything's completely planned for the entire trip. I've even pretty much got all my packing done, so all I can do is sit around, check the boards/news, and twiddle my thumbs. It's so hard waiting it out, yet I know once I'm there, the time will fly by. And then once I'm back, I'll have to start my countdown all over again for my Christmas trip.

Ok the bad thing about a surprise trip.................you can't threaten the kids we won't go if your not good! I also get sick about as soon as the trip starts it will soon be over...........this is very stressful. The nightmares of oversleeping while we are there , or we packed all the wrong clothes :confused3 you would think I am going somewhere bad! But soon I will be at the Happiest place on earth :woohoo: , and thanks to all of you ......I have someone to share my obsesions with!

Ok we are the bad people here who cant join your party we have already gone to disney this year but not disneyland but Disneyworld and our next trip will most likely be back to the world in January of 2009 with a cruise I know we have our priorities mixed up but weve already promised my dad a disney free year next year but maybe well go back in 2010 yes that is a long time away but for now we are occupied with the World

Yea!!!!!  I'm so happy you all don't think I'm insane;) I just need some where to channel my happy energy. I left 10 sticky notes all over my bosses desk today saying, 63 more days till I go to the happiest place on earth!! She laughed and called me a dork.:upsidedow It put a smile:) on her face because a couple of the girls I work with are so UNHAPPY with their life that they are the most negative people:headache: you will ever work with and they tend to try and infect the happy people,:sad2: but not me. Most of the time I'm pretty happy:goodvibes because I love my job and have a great husband:hug: who I can joke around with at the end of the day. Don't get me wrong, he sure can be a real butt head sometimes but overall he's a pretty great guy! Anyway, LET'S SEE HOW LONG WE CAN KEEP THIS THREAD GOING. :cheer2: :cheer2: If you feel the need to post everyday then by all means GO AHEAD!!! We can keep eachother all hyped up!!!:hyper: The dis family is my second family:grouphug: :disrocks: HAVE FUN!!:goodvibes

I am so crazy I re-count the days left till we leave. Then I count for my friend who leaves the week before. Then she tells me how many work days we each have left. :hyper2:

don't you think having this ..........hmmm............addiction makes you have a better outlook on life? I think Disney is one of the few things I can obsess about without being un-moral, gaining weight...till I get therepopcorn:: , I can share it with others . It's great! Ok and the way I count it I have 1 day less then the ticker says..... I don't count today , it's already here and I don't count the day I go , because I go that day! Ok so at work do you have pics of your trips? Do you wear Disney ...clothes or jewlery? Is there Disney music in your car? Stickers on it? Ok I may over do it , but it's awsome

I do have Disney stuff at work, but no pictures of my own (postcard, pin, and mug from the 50th)
And, yes, I agree that there are worse things that I could be addicted to.
