Going Christmas week

As the time is getting closer, I am getting worried about my Christmas week trip. We consider ourselves to be very experienced at DW - having gone both Christmas week and in the summer several times. We managed to have a plan during Christmas week where we hardly waited in lines - going early and really using FP...

I am not sure how to plan for going to Universal, no matter how much I read about it. I know it's going to be busy, and we are planning on going for the extra hour in the morning - we also are staying onsite so we have the EP. However, I'm still not sure what else I can do (as far as having a touring plan) to maximize our time there - or maybe there really doesn't need to be a huge plan???

Any advice would be great!

We'll be there the 22nd-24th and if my Touring Plans plan is to be believed we should have no problem seeing everything and having ample time to hang out in the Harry Potter areas. Let's hope it's right! Looking at what I have, I don't feel the pressure to even follow the plan that closely because it indicates lots of extra time.

I will be there from the 26-28th. I did briefly look at Touring Plans and need to go back and have another look...

Thanks for responding! I sure hope it's right!

We're going to be there the evening of the 25th, and then the 26th and 27th. We are planning on huge crowds, lots of waiting, and some frustration.

We may not do EE (haven't decided yet) but do hope to hold out until closing(which I believe will be 11:00 every day) to take advantage of (hopefully) shorter lines as the time gets later.
