going back to school

Well done - and good luck with your studies.

Hope it goes really well for you! Where are you studying?
And to back everyone elses sentiments up there's a guy in some of my lectures doing a music degee and he's 43 and loving it!!!!!

I did my nurse training 10 years ago at the age of 18 (straight from school). I think that was a disadvantage as I had no life experience and had not grown thick skin. I was one of only three who were that age in my intake and the majority of fellow students were more mature. I don't think I have had a young student with me since I qualified either so you are in the majority doing this at your age. Every mature newly qualified nurse always says they get respected imediately, probably because other staff/patients assume they have been qualified for years. I, on the other, still get asked "are you old enough to be qualified?" :furious: Drives me insane.

Happy to help if needed

great stuff - good luck
