Going back to school "get organized" list?

So if your kids haven't started back yet what things do you need to do to get ready?

Does anyone know of any " back to school/get organized " lists?

Both my kids still need new shoes -- regular, gym shoes, and soccer cleats for their teams.

I have all the pens, paper, folders and other supplies.

I have to have an $83 graphing calculator for algebra 2 seriously going to cut down on my clothes.

If you are looking for a list specific for your child try your local Staples. Ours has a rack in the entrance that has each schools suggested list for each grade.That said, it depends on the grade for what they will need.My boys are done except for the clothes and my older boy needs a lunch box. It sure does get expensive

this is the kind of thing I was looking for, a "get organized" list to make going back to school easier and to have a checklist so I wasnt forgetting anything.

My ds needed 2 packs of notebookpaper, 2 24 packs of pencils, 3 folders, 1 3 ring binder, 1 pack of baby wipes, 2 boxes of kleenexes, 1 gallon sized box of ziploc bags, 1 pack of crayons, 1 thing of hand sanitizer, 1 zippered pencil pouch, and I think that's it (he's in the 3rd grade).

My dd needed 2 packs of copy paper, 2 packs of notebook paper, 1 pack of 24 pack of pencils, 2 socks (to use to erase on the markerboards), 2 whiteboard markers, 1 pack of baby wipes, 2 rolls of paper towels, 1 thing of hand sanitizer, 6 folders, 1 3 ring binder, 1 t-30 calculator, 4 stretchable book covers, a set of dividers for her 3 ring binder, and I think that's it (she's in the 6th grade).

Our school system sends home the next years supply list before the school year ends - which means you can work on getting your supplies all summer.

I just kept it in my coupon holder and checked each week to see what was on sale. This year the only thing that wasn't on sale was her new calculator.

Now - school clothes and shoes - that's another thing

See???? We were just talking about this over at YDF I am going to petition my schools this year to do that! It would make life so much easier!
