So. Ektachrome is due back on shelves before the end of the year. They're now at least floating a trial balloon on Kodachrome.

How many of you will dust off your equipment and start shooting slides again?

Sort of like records being available in vinyl again? ;)

I have no intention of digging out my old film camera.

  • I can't afford film and film processing.
  • Can't be bother converting them into JPG's

I dunno. I always liked the challenge of film. getting everything just right at the shutter click.

Just took a college course on film photography. Shot black and white film, did all our own processing and printing. Really brings home the art of photography .

I sold my two 35mm SLR cameras and their lenses, etc. in August 2008 when I took up digital photography, so I can't use that old equipment ever again.

However, I purchased a used Minolta film P&S camera a few days ago on eBay, and I plan on using it for occasional 35mm photography.

I bought a Yashica Auto Focus S instead.IMG_0245.JPG

I just pulled out my Nikon fm2 a few weeks ago and was pondering selling it. Maybe the price will go up if I hold out a bit!
