Going back in November

I haven't been active on the boards for a while, since I haven't had a Disney trip planned in ages, but yesterday my mom, who is my partner in crime, when it comes to Disney found an offer on the Belgium site together with some REALLY cheap flight tickets. I love the fact that you can book on all the country sites! So now we are going back in the end of November to get in the mood for Christmas.
So that means I'm back on the board as well.... It seems a bit quiet here at the moments. Has everyone moved elsewhere? Or what have I missed?

I'm staying at HNY. It's our favorite... Ok, DLH is our favorite, but HNY is a close second ;-) Where are you staying? Are you going for Halloween?

Hi there good to see you back! The boards are a bit quieter these days but there's still quite a few of us around.

We love the Hny too and will probably be there, not got hotel booked yet.

We won't be there on Halloween but will enjoy the season, love all the decorations around the park.

in the HNY, would i be able to maybe email the hotel a few weeks before we arrive to try and hint at getting a room with a bit of a view of the castle or even the lake? or are these views only available when upgrading your room?

I always email beforehand and have been lucky with nice rooms a couple of times. Last time I asked at check in for a room in Midtown as its our preferred area and we got s lovely room overlooking the lake. I wasn't fussed about a lake room to be honest and would have been happy with a car park view because if you're high enough you get a glimpse of the castle. Good luck
