Going back in May 2012!!

So....I'm taking my sister on her first ever WDW trip next May as her graduation gift! At that point it'll be a year and half since my last WDW trip, I don't know if I can wait that long!!!!
I want to treat her to a great experience, so I'm not sure if I should look into renting some DVC points (she'd LOVE AKV!), and then add hopper tickets and DDP.....OR if I should just book a regular room. Maybe I should wait and see if there are any room discounts at that time.
Any suggestions??

Even with the past few Disney promos, it has still ended up being cheaper to rent DVC points and pay for the dining plan. I priced out almost every scenario both during the 40% of room promo and the dining plan free promo. Renting DVC points- even at $13 pp, was cheaper. Plus you can get the kitchens which is so worth it.

I actually just priced out a couple of DVC vacays as well, and I found the same thing. Isn't that crazy? Thanks for the advice, its very helpful. I can't wait to plan this!
