We are considering going back to Disneyland in mid-June for a week or so. I assume that most schools will be on Summer Break by then? Has anyone gone in mid-June (Say 17-24?)? what are the crowds like?

I dont want to put a positive spin on hard ship, but maybe the downturn in the World Economy will cut some of the crowds?

In honest opinion, it may be a little busy. Not PEAK SEASON busy but there will be crowds. Ride waits maybe around 20-40min each rather then up to an hour or more during peak season. Just make good use of fast passes and even try ridemax if you are concerned about waits.

As for weather, its gonna be nice and toasty. Shorts, sandles, and tshirts during the day, but the evenings can be a little chillier so be prepared with some pants and a light jacket.

We went last year from June 20-24th, and using fast passes and getting there early made it seem not all that crowded. When we'd come back after a break in the afternoons though, it seemed like a whole different game with the hoards of people. Just go in the mornings hard core and take it easier in the afternoon. As far as weather went, it was pretty darn hot!! Tees and shorts were what we wore and we were constantly needing water and ice cream. ;)

Or it could be more crowded if more local people decide to go to DLR for a day trip instead of going on a big vacation somewhere else.

I agree. Even for us, it is cheaper than say going to Hawaii or WDW.
Nights are always crowded. It seems like everyone comes for just the fireworks. :confused3

Yes nights are more crowded so do as another poster suggeted and collect as many FP as you can during the morning and save them for the evenings. We usually take a break in the afternoon and them come back, refreshed and use our stockpile of FP to avoid the longer waits.
