We got just got back 4/24. We did Universal and Disney. We love RPR!! We were suppose to stay there for 7 nights...but on our 5th night...we got tired of Universal cause we saw everything we wanted to see...do everything we wanted to do, so decided to pick up the phone and book ASSp and did MK on our last 2 days.
I LOVE FOTL!!!!! It is worth staying on sight!!
Suess Landing was awesome! (remember I have kids 4 and 6) and Barney and Curious George...the Woody Woodpecker coaster ride...etc...
Jaws--the kids were scared! I told them it is a fake shark.
MIB--son loved it!! daughter and mommy didn't like the car jerking and spinning!! Half of the time our eyes were closed!
Spiderman--son loved it!! daughter and mommy didn't like the car jerking and spinning. Most of the time our eyes were closed.
Woody--kids were a little scared. mommy loved it!
ET--We enjoyed this ride. We liked it a lot!
Most favorite ride: Cat in the Hat...One fish Two fish...
Mardi Grass--nice. a lot of people jumping and shoving trying to get some beads!! I didn't like this part. I got hit on the head twice!! We were going to do Mardi Grass everynite...but when I found out that there will be some pushing and shoving (even the adults were shoving) we decided not to watch the parade again. The kids caught very few beads...but that is ok...they had a good time despite of adults and big kids over crowding them.
We bought the Spongebob souvinier refillable mug. It is a nice cute mug. Then on a different day...we bought Rugrats refill mug.
We didn't eat at any expensive restaurants. We just did Hard Rock Cafe and NBA City.
We did character dining at RPR. Food ok...the character interaction with us were just average. We waited about 45 minutes before they came to us...I even have to tell the lady that we are almost done eating and no character have come to our table yet (the place was not even busy). However...I metioned to the lady that I was celebrating my bday...so 15 minutes later...Scooby and Shaggy finally came to our table with a nice decorated cake with a lit candle and they say happy bday to me!
Did the Luau. The gloomy weather didn't permit them to have it outside...so we had it inside called Pacifica Ballroom. The food was good. The gurls were good! It was nice.
I love the RPR pool!! Very nice!! The pool. at RPR was warmer than HRH. I pool hopped there one day. The pool at HRH is nice...but I like RPR pool better. The RPR beach was very nice. I did most of my relaxing there while the kids were playing on the sand. I was watching the guys play volleyball on the sand court. The interactive water play is nice, but the water is cold!! BRRRR!!
I love RPR!! The walk to IOA was nice...10 minute stroll. We also took the bus as well as water taxi. The bus is always empty. I am heading back there again this coming June!!
