Going back for 1st anniversary?

We have already booked our stay for our wedding. We are staying at the GF - RPC and I have booked the MK shoot for our anniversary day. We had originally planned on doing it this summer, but we had to change that a couple of months ago.

We are having dinner at Citrico's (where we had our reception) and I emailed our WP and she is going to have a replica of our wedding cake made for us. I am also hoping to do a KTTK tour for BG - he has always wanted to do that.

We are also planning on the sleigh ride at the WL, and dinner at the California Grille.

It should be a very nice anniversay - we plan on returning every year at that time....:goodvibes

Cori - I have seen many people get smaller replicas of the wedding cakes offered at Disney. If you get a chance, check out the first 2-3 pages of the "Birthday/Anniversary Cake" thread on the Restaurants Boards. Many of the restaurants on property offer cakes to the guests. We have had several made there. I can dig up pics of the ones we have had if it would help... Let me know!

hiya zeltoo, if you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for the reproduction top layer? i want to do this for DH next time we go

As you can see, we like cake. All of our cakes have been ordered from the GF, but you can get one at MOST of the restaurants. For the last one, I called GF Private Dining and asked to pick it up at Gasparilla's. It was huge - the 4 of us ate a piece every day for a week and didn't finish it!!! I can personally attest for their AMAZING cakes!! I have never had a bad experience from them. All of the cakes have been so yummy!!!

It wasn't bad, $80. And the funny thing is, it went on my dinner bill. So used DDE (Disney Dining Experience) and 20% off.

I love that card.
