We've had such miserable weather this week that I've done a very impulsive thing and booked flights to Orlando. Been half a dozen times before, but not for about nine or ten years, so extremely excited about visiting again!

Stuck with school holidays so booked 9-23 August. We have flights and car hire booked, ESTA sorted and have some ideas for park tickets. But the big question is where to find a nice villa. Looking for a 3-bedroom villa with private pool and free internet. Previously we've enjoyed staying around Rolling Hills, Formosa Gardens or Indian Ridge developments which we've liked, but wondering whether to try Indian Wells (if we can find a nice villa at relatively short notice).

I'm really out of the Orlando loop after too many years of not visiting, so any advice about nice villas and good locations would be much appreciated.

Personally I love the Formosa Gardens location, so close to Animal Kingdom and then also so close to lots of restaurants/bars on 192!

Emerald Isle is also very close to Formosa although I haven't stayed there and iv heard lots of good reviews about Windsor Hills and it's location!

Hope you have a great time! :goodvibes

We have stayed at Windsor Hills in a 3br Townhome - but they only have splash pools - I hope you find something :goodvibes

I have never stayed off Disney but I totally love your impulsivness ..... happy planning :thumbsup2

Try ownersdirect.com We emailed lots of villa owners with only 3 weeks notice and were lucky to get a few replies which we could choose from. I agree with lisa x our stay in Formosa was by far the best but we have also stayed further out in solana and manors. These were also lovely villas and pools at a cheaper rate than Formosa and Windsor hills etc. I suppose it all depends location. Ownersdirect has pics of all parts of the villas and also customer ratings, hope this helps :thumbsup2
