Last year we were there right when NYC had the blizzard so the whole east coast had a cold front. It was a low of 40s high of 65 in Orlando. We were in sweats the whole week. DS always had a jacket on.

Now I'm reading it's a low of 50s high of 77. So how should we dress him? Pants/Sweats with short sleeve shirts w/jacket in case? I truly don't want to over pack. I'm trying to get all of us in one suitcase!

Any suggestions?

Hello! We were in Disney last week & the weather was wonderful! I recommend you dress in layers. Short sleeves with jeans & a jacket or sweatshirt you can take off in the afternoons.
Have a great vacation!!!

Layers sounds good. We were in WDW years ago the week after New Year's and wore shorts & t-shirts the whole week! Heck, even 77 feels balmy when you live in the Northeast in the winter!

I think your best bet is waiting a little closer to when you leave and checking weather.com for a 10 day forecast. This time of year, it can change so dramatically. Like the past couple days have been highs in the 70s, but for the weekend, a cold front is coming through, and there are freeze advisories!

We're going Jan 27, and I plan on bringing a little bit of everything for DD...probably mostly jeans and short sleeve or long sleeve shirt with a pullover for chilly mornings and evenings. I'm hoping to leave the winter coat and gloves at home!

Have fun! :flower:

We were just there a couple of weeks ago and the weather is very up and down, but it was GREAT!! I would for sure do layers. We would start out in a light coat or sweatshirt and then go down to just a short sleeve or long sleeved shirt during the day and back to the light coat/sweatchirt for the evenings. My dh and boys alwasy wore shorts and were fine, me and the girls always wore jeans, capris or leggings.
Have fun!!

We were there last January and accuweather said it was going to be in the 70's. It ended up in the lower 80's and we wore summer clothes the whole time. We were there again last month and accuweather said it was going to be in the 70's but this time it was rainy and in the 60's and it was COLD. We had capris/shorts for one day, but it only really got warm enough for them for a couple of hours in the afternoon, the rest of the day we had to put on jackets. The rest of the trip it was jeans and hoodies.

So, I guess what you need to bring is just about everthing! lol. Plan on layers, because unless it's in the 80's, it will be chilly in the early mornings and after the sun sets.

HTH

Start with a tee, next long sleeve, and top with a jacket. If you really want to go all out put a pair of shorts on under athletic pants.

Layers are key!! Even when it gets into the 70's during the day, the mornings start out on the cool side. Once the sun comes out you will be fine.

We were there in December with temps between 45-77. We dresses in shorts, short sleeves and either a sweater or jacket in the am. At night, we wore pants, short sleeves and a sweater or coat. Have fun! :earsboy:

We were there right before Christmas, and it was very cold at night! (Think 40's and damp!) The forecast changed while we were down there, too. I'm guessing that ayou will have/rent a stroller for your toddler. If you don't want to pack much, try planning on buying a special blanket that your toddler can curl up in while waiting for parades, etc. This always worked for my youngest, and the blanket remains a treasured souvenir at home!

Stupid question, how do you check the weather out so far?

We go in 8 days and I am having a time at trying to figure out how to pack.

We got back Friday, and we were in shorts and short sleeves during the day. I dressed my 19 month old in capris and t-shirts and brought along a light jacket for early morning and evening. Like a previous poster, I checked weather.com every day for about a week before we left (yes, I was a little excited!).

I brought a variety of clothing for all types of weather, but it was low 70s every day, so we were lucky!!
