Goin to DC

Lots.

Lurk this board.
Biggest tip is to arrive early, even if your swim is in the afternoon.
Official opening time is 9am, but if you have an early swim, you get in at about 8am. You wanna be literally standing at the doors by at least 08:30am if you don't have a 9am swim. This will speed your checkin (it's like a hotel). After checkin, a guide walks you to a snorkle station where you pick up your gear. If you got there early, you won't wait. Then you get your locker, and get first dibs on the wet suits.

Buy some meshy shoes at Walmart or Target. You'll need them in the coral reef lagoon.
Also pick up a disposable underwater camera. You can bring your own camera, but you're on a beach and the sand is everywhere. You can put your camera in the free locker they give you.

Eat lunch at 11am or 2pm to avoid the crowd. The food is great, it's served cafeteria style, you'll find something you like.

Great suggestions! Just to add one more. Keep track of the time for your dolphin swim. We saw several families yelling at others in their party because they had missed their dolphin time. It's very easy to get so involved in snorkeling and other stuff that you can lose track of time. That's another reason to try and get an early dolphin swim time. Have fun!
